We know you’re eager to get your hands on the app and start playing around with all it’s different features and settings, which is why we strived to make Xonder’s sign up process a breeze to get through. Requirements for eligibility?

In order to open a business account with Xonder, you will need to meet the requirements listed below for eligibility:


For both account types, you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid UK telephone number and address, and possess a compatible device registered to the UK App Store or Google Play Store. 

Unfortunately, there are certain types of business we can’t onboard as of right now however we are actively working on making Xonder more accessible. Please visit our FAQ section if you would like to learn more about this and find out if your business is eligible.


Requirements for approval?

Before your application can be approved, we require some documents from you to complete your application. This is the verification stage and could take up to 1-2 days to be approved but we will normally respond faster. The documents required consist of the following:


Photo ID: Such as Passport, Full/Provisional UK Driving License, UK Residency Permit, EU Identity Card.


Proof of Address: Such as Full/Provisional UK Driving License, Utility bill, Council tax bill, mortgage statement, letter from HMRC, Bank statement.


Proof of Business: Such as web address or social media link to your business, photo of your business premises, lease or rental agreement for business premises, supplier invoice or contract/agreement, Certificate of qualification.

What happens after you’ve signed up?

At this stage, after signing up with us, your account is almost ready to go. Most accounts are usually approved and ready to go within several minutes while others can be more complex and take longer to approve, however you should still receive your business account in a smooth and timely manner. In the meanwhile, you can expect a welcome email from us explaining the basic features and benefits of Xonder.


What happens after your account has been approved?

After you have submitted the necessary documents and your account is fully approved – you’ll receive an email from us confirming your account has been approved. We’ll also send you your very own Xonder business debit card through the post, which should arrive roughly within 3-5 working days. It will come attached to a letter explaining how to activate your card so you can get up and running with transfers, withdrawals, and so on.

That’s it – you are officially registered and have an account with us. You can now enjoy using the Xonder app with full freedom and access your business account at any point in time.
